"PROLOGUE"

---

Author’s pov:

The hospital corridors echoed with tension. The lights above flickered dimly as a storm of emotions swirled inside Saanvika's heart. Her trembling legs barely carried her forward as she rushed to the doctor, her face soaked with tears.

"Doctor please… meri dii aur unke bache ko kuch nahi hona chahiye. Please save them," she cried, her voice breaking with every word.

The doctor’s expression remained firm, yet carried the weight of the truth. "There are a lot of complications in the patient’s pregnancy. Your sister’s body is not responding… it feels like she doesn’t want to live herself. In this situation, it will be very difficult to save her or the baby."

A nurse burst into the hallway, panic written all over her face. "Doctor! There’s a lot of problem during the delivery. We don’t think we can save either the baby or the mother."

Saanvika fell to her knees, begging, "Doctor… do something, anything! Please save them. Pleaseee…" Her sobs echoed through the hall, her voice trembling with fear.

The doctor tried to stay composed. "We’ll do our best… but now only God can help. Pray that her body starts responding."

---

Saanvika’s pov:

I folded my hands together, looking up with tear-filled eyes.

"Please God… please don’t let anything happen to her. Please keep her and her baby safe. Let the baby be born healthy in this world… and if she has committed any sin in your eyes, then punish me instead. But please… let her live. Take my life if you want, but save her… please God… please…"

---

Her voice cracked under the weight of heartbreak. Her heart, fragile as glass, threatened to shatter with each passing second.

---

Author's pov:

Suddenly… the silence broke.

A cry rang through the hospital hall—sharp, clear, alive.

The doctor stepped out, holding a small, wriggling bundle in her arms. A faint smile curved her lips.

"Congratulations… it’s a baby girl."

Tears of relief welled up in Saanvika’s eyes. "A girl… dii always wanted a daughter. Doctor… how’s dii?"

The doctor’s gaze dropped to the floor. Her voice softened, laced with sorrow. "I’m sorry… but due to lack of response, your sister has slipped into a coma."

"Coma…?" The word hit her like a blow. Her legs gave way beneath her, and she dropped to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably.

"We can’t say when or if she’ll regain consciousness. I’m really sorry…" the doctor added gently.

Author's pov:

In the nurse’s arms, the newborn cried—unaware of the storm her arrival had brought. A new life had begun… while another one now hung between life and silence.

Other side:-

Author's pov:

Love… it’s supposed to heal, right? Make us whole, lift us when we fall. But what happens when that very love is snatched away—ripped from your soul like the breath from your lungs?

That kind of pain doesn’t just hurt… it destroys.

Vyom had never imagined he’d fall like this. He was always the strong one. Unshakable. Unbreakable.

But today, the storm wasn’t around him—it was inside him.

Today, he lost the only person who kept his heart beating.

Shilie wasn’t just someone he loved.

She was him.

And now, she was gone.

**************************************

---

"You didn’t listen, and now look... look at what you’ve done... Saanvika!"

He rushed forward, collapsing beside her motionless body. His trembling hands cupped her cold face.

"Shilie... no, no, no... nothing’s happened to you. You’re just tired, right? Just... sleeping. I’m right here, love. I’m not going anywhere. Open your eyes, please. Just one look. One smile. That’s all I ask."

Then came the scream.

"God dammit, Shilie! Open your eyes! Don’t you dare leave me like this! Please open your eyes... please..."

A soft, firm voice of doctor interrupted the chaos.

"Mr. Vyom... please compose yourself. She’s... she’s no more."

The world collapsed.

Vyom stared at the doctor, as if he’d just cursed everything sacred.

Rage exploded. He grabbed the doctor by the collar, shaking him violently.

"How dare you say that?! She’s breathing—she has to be! You’re the doctor—then fix her! You don’t get to tell me she’s gone! You don’t get to take her away!"

Then the rage crumbled, and what was left was pure, raw desperation.

He fell to his knees, folding his hands, sobbing.

"Please... please, I’m begging you... Save her... take my life, take everything I have... Just bring her back. I can’t live without her... I won’t live without her..."

A hand of his assistant gently rested on his shoulder. A voice, barely above a whisper.

"Sir... please... you have to let go. Shilie ma’am... she’s gone. She’s really... gone..."

---

Author's pov:

And for the first time in years… Vyom broke.

Not the kind of break that heals with time.

But the kind that never really mends.

He cried. Not tears, but a storm. Each sob, a wound. Each breath, a war.

And as the silence settled in, as her hand slipped from his fingers, as her warmth faded from his world… he knew.

A part of him had died with her.

*************************************

---

His eyes turned cold. His voice barely human.

"Saanvika…"

"You took her from me. You snatched the light out of my life. You didn’t just kill her... You murdered me with her."

His voice darkened, fury rising like a tide.

"Now I’ll burn your world down, Saanvika. I’ll make you beg—for peace, for silence, for death. And even then... I won’t let you go. You’ll suffer, like I am. And when you think you’ve lost everything... That’s when it’ll truly begin."

---

Author's pov:

That day, the man who loved… died.

What rose from the ashes...

Wasn’t Vyom.

It was vengeance.

It was fury.

It was the promise of a storm... that would never stop until it destroyed everything in its path.

---

He lost Shilie... and with her, every reason to breathe.

Now, as Vyom tears Saanvika’s world apart, it’s not revenge—it’s the ache of a love unfinished.

But when they meet again, pain will speak louder than rage… and the silence between them will hold the weight of a thousand goodbyes.

A new story had begun.

Of love.

Of loss.

Of revenge.

And of a storm that promised to never end.
